How I ranked these manufacturing podcasts
This list is based on my December 17, 2025 study, What 101 manufacturing podcasts talked about in 2025. That research analyzed 101 manufacturing podcasts and 3,182 episodes. This roundup translates the study into a listener-focused ranking.
The main ranking factors were: Apple Podcasts ratings, review volume, topic depth, consistency, cross-podcast influence, and how useful each show is for a clearly defined manufacturing audience.
I also weighted topical relevance. Leadership and strategy appeared on 73% of manufacturing podcasts, AI and automation on 66%, and workforce on 64%. Reshoring, supply chain, sustainability, and digital transformation all grew materially year over year, which is why podcasts strong in those areas moved up this list.
